Perfumer ‘Not Guilty’ of Stealing Trade Secrets

Givaudan case decided in Trenton in favor of Mane USA employee.

A federal court in Trenton ruled that a former Givaudan employee is not guilty of steal ingtrade secrets from the flavors and fragrance supplier, according to reports. The case was filed in 2008 by Givaudan when perfumer James Krivda left the company to work for competitor Mane USA, based in New Jersey.   Reports say that Givaudan, a Swiss company, accused the former employee of taking over 600 formulations to his new place of employment.
